Here I am, back from my recent trip to Penang (which turned out a real last minute thing on account of my forgetfulness). Nothing of interest to report about that disappointing visit but there’s still loads of other things to update on so might as well get started.

1. If anyone kindly remembers my Entry 1 post – or seen my MSN messenger nickname message – then you’ll know I’ll be off somewhere for the Christmas Holidays; which pretty much means tomorrow folks! So where I hear voices asking? Well, I’ve just graduated High School so it had to be somewhere I’ve been wanting to see for a while now so…I’M HITTING LA PEOPLE!!! XD
   
   Lol, now don’t be getting jealous there peeps, I know not everyone out there is fortunate enough to get such an opportunity and therefore, when life gives you lemons…

2. My second CHARM gym yesterday and boy is it getting tough. CW delivered some interesting news but I’d rather not mention anything about that yet in case it doesn’t actually…happen – know what I mean? So anyways, told him about my going to LA and not being able to attend practice and gym till after New Year and stuff.
   
   Gym commenced of course, and I honestly hate the fact that my old injury is resurfacing itself so terribly every time I try to tumble and has even been affecting my stunting abilities. As to my noob-looking motions…well, guess I’m just really out-of-touch there. *sighs* There’s a lot of skill 're-sharpenings' to be done once I come back, including maybe a trip to the doctor to check on that injury.
   
   
3. So guess who I met online that same night. After so long (3 years?) of hardly speaking to each other, out of the blue comes a “hi” from my long-ago best-bud, Michelle. Wow, been ridiculously long since I last had a one-on-one conver with that girl; and honestly, it felt great to know she still takes the time to check-up on the little people from her past (lolz, just kidding). Started normal with common greetings, “how’ve you been’s” and all the usuals. What surprised me however is the main reason she chatted me up – to apologize and clear things up about the whole ‘leaving-cheer-behind-without-telling’.
   
   Thinking back, I guess I did sort of feel betrayed and hurt when it happened initially but hey, as always, that’s life and everyone just has to learn to forgive and forget. I never had anything against Michelle during the years we spent apart but I definitely missed her so it feels really good to know the truth and be able to understand why she did what she did. Best of luck to you, Mic! Even if we aren’t anywhere near as close as we once were.
   
   
4. Lastly, I’m going to miss a certain someone who’s going to NS (national service) very soon on the 29th while I’m away in the US...

   Friend, tumbling partner, only fellow VLC to join CHARM with me this year (gosh this sounds sappy, lol, but yeah,) will be missing you while you suffer your heart out over in Sabah for a grueling next 3 months XD. Heh, seriously, have a safe trip. Till then, have fun and...I’d get you something from LA and all but who knows if I'll even remember to give it to you once you come back (surely you know how forgetful I can be XP).

Well okay, that’s all I have to say dearies – not like he’s actually going to war or something. Plus, cheerleading practice…might very well be just as hard; but I’ll never really know.

I now leave you all with a cheerful ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS!’ (though it’s not exactly for me to celebrate) and a ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR!’
