Okay, short one today. Just wanted to say I finally watched "The Dark Knight" movie. Gotta admit, it's not at all like all those other 'superhero' movies. It's definitely the first time I've seen something like this I think, and while the movie's dark tone is not exactly what I'd call appealing, I have to admit this was a far better Batman movie than any I've seen before and definitely worth a second watch (though I think I prefer Katie Holmes over Maggie Gyllenhaal). Also, the late Heath Ledger's portrayal as the notorious Joker was phenomenal - "Why so serious?". Heck he scared the soul out of me! To think it was his last performance makes one wonder...what else that man could have accomplished as an actor if he hadn't suddenly met an end. We may never know. But I was truly moved, having never paid attention to it all before. So this is my little way of paying respect...although I still don't feel much of anything...
