Taylor's (recent) Charity Carnival Day was a real treat-of-a-sight to marvel in. Just check out these pictures below:

Flooding with students from each Pre-U course (SAM & CAL people mostly, I think).

Very unfortunately for us ICPU's, classes were on as usual without shortened periods so the only time we really had to explore the carnival was during our breaks. The good news is that most of the teachers thought this unfair as well and ended some of their classes early so us students could browse around the stalls and festivities.

No doubt there were loads of interesting things going on. Various booths littered the parking lot from beginning to end selling tons of delicacies, other merchandise and hosting games at each location. What amazed me really was the amount of enthusiasm a mass of the students displayed throughout the event - I had person after person coming up to me promoting their products of the day like crazy. Honestly, am I a product magnet or something? Then again, if I was then what was El? Heh.

Even with the ill-bringing haze on prowl people were working hard to raise the dough for charity~

Don't we all know (and somewhat love) this game? This guy got dunked right after I made the shot! (Yeah right - note the ball on the upper left though; great shot huh?).

And here's one of the food-stuff I allowed myself for the day. Those cupcakes were freaking sweet and sugary!! (You bet I was hyper by the time classes were over).

I think overall, my favorite part of the day was visiting that booth Mr. Collin (Mr. G's supposed rival) set up near one of the entrances to the Cafeteria. He was selling both framed and unframed pictures (at ridiculously CHEAP prices!); all of which charismatically captured my attention as eternal works of art and beauty (Haha, just thought of that poem 'Ode on a Grecian Urn' by John Keats) - they were spectacular!!

"Mr. Collin must have one AWESOME camera," was what I had in mind. I mean, seriously, THOSE PICTURES WERE BREATHTAKINGLY MESMERIZING!!! I just HAD to take one home. What's just as amazing was the fact that he'd taken all those pictures himself during his travels across multiple parts around the globe; those pictures truly captured each detail magnificently. I could probably rant on about it but I believe I've expressed my point.

Assuming my calculations are right, I'd say I donated about say RM50+ to charity on that day itself. Yeah, sure, it's not THAT much but odds are most other people ended up spending similar amounts on the day as well. And there were a lot of students there if I say so myself.

It's events like these that make college life so interesting. You know, that 'carnival' feeling. Doesn't feel like school at all - just the way I like it~
