And so today I decided to follow my parents and watch:

(Believe me I know that sounded ludicrous but heck ya, I'm a little loony from seeing Pierce Brosnan in one of those 70s/80s Bell-bottom suit get-ups - SO DARN WORTH THE WATCH!!!)

Heh, well I'm only kidding, partially. I mean the movie was pretty good. Mamma Mia! is indeed one of those musical classics. And well if you know me, you know I LOVE musicals; thus, jump at every opportunity to watch one.

I trust there's no need for me to explain the story so to those sorry-little-lambs who simply never took the trouble to figure out what it's all about? Your FREAKING loss!! It's has a stellar plot.

Besides, ABBA songs are pretty catchy~ Though I'm not exactly a fan of theirs. No offence to the group members of course but I've just heard better singers singing their tunes is all - so sorry!! XP

Either way, how many people out there knew Maryl Streep (character Donna in the movie) could sing like one of the best? Apparently, she can!! Yikes, and she's like 50? (or something) Whatever it is, that's what I call talent!!

Amanda Seyfried, who plays Sophie, was also a magnificent singer. I jus wish I could say the same for ex-James Bond star Pierce Brosnan. Ok ok, so his singing isn't all THAT bad - he can sing in tune, I'll give him that - but it kinda looked like he was forcing his voice out every time.

Whatever it is, the movie made for superb comedic entertainment - you just gotta love how Pierce Brosnan so doesn't fit the role (come to think of it, has he ever acted in this genre? o_O).
