Oh Cessy knows we're watching her - she ALWAYS knows!!

Just yesterday was the 10th of October, El's notorious date of birth. Well, so of course we wanted to have some kind of celebration, even despite our busy schedules. There were no big hush-hush surprise parties this time and El pretty much arranged for herself a get-together after class hours in the cafeteria to play - one of our latest fetish obsessions - Taboo! A board (well, not technically a board being involved) game, for anyone's information.

Here are the basic rules, according to what El and Sal drilled into me:

• We form 2 teams that will oppose each other.
• One team starts first and a member of the starting team is selected to begin things.
• Basically, it's similar to 'Charades' or 'Pictionary', with some notable differences of course - you're supposed to describe the word on the card you draw while avoiding the use of 5 relative words on the card itself (easy? Don't make me laugh!).
• Then, you can only say one of those 'taboo' words on the cards if one of your group members guessing have mentioned the word first.

Phew, it's one hectic game every time we play it though. We just get so excited and flustered thanks to the freaking time limit imposed upon us and the inability to use certain words we would otherwise have used to describe the thing on the card. Talk about needing good vocabulary!

Anyways, so that's precisely what we did that day to celebrate! And in the midst of playing, once El was deeply absorbed, some of the others brought out the Birthday Cake! XD
