21.1.09 -- The Girl With The Voice

Yeah, so I've had a lot of free time on my hands since ICPU ended recently. University is more or less settled, though accommodation is still going to be a nutcase for me till who knows when.

Side-tracking for a second, if anyone is going to be studying in Melbourne, presumably somewhere around the City Center area over the next three (3) years, well, share a room? Heh~ XP I'll probably be living alone till I find a roommate. Oh well, it's like that in foreign places, right? That is if you just happen to be unlucky enough to not get the campus lodges.

Back to the main title, I've seen and heard this girl 'belt it' twice already. Once on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and another time on Oprah's. For some reason though I've only managed to catch her name recently while watching her jaw-dropping duet with Celine. If you haven't seen or heard of her before, for goodness sakes GO NOW!!! Why? Because she's flipping amazing!!!

Forget Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston, despite them being her early inspirations, at sweet sixteen this year (2009) she's a singing sensation and is unbelievably deserving of the title she has earned herself (kindly refer to post title, thanks ^_^).

So people, she's famous enough as it is and heck she's as good as the best of them out there. I'd give more on her background but Oprah's got that pretty much covered. Take a look for yourself and bask in her amazing talent.

Lastly, a warning, prepare some tissues in case you tear and ensure no cameras are sticking about anywhere near you because your jaw is going to drop the moment this girl opens her mouth during a song.
