16.2.09 -- Freaky Valentine
Author's Note: Hehe [insert manic chuckle], I know it's two (2) days over but what the heck, my internet connection's been a real pain lately so there.All I've got to say about my experiences on 'the day' it self this year is...that it was seriously weird.
Oh, and I'm not kidding. And here are just three (3) of the weird stuff that happened:
- I had a dream about the first guy I ever had a crush on. Honestly, how weird is it to have a dream like that on the very morning of Valentine's Day? I haven't even seen the freaking dude in over a year. Strange no? Lol.
- Next, I met two people I thought I wouldn't end up seeing again for like...the rest of my life? Not that it was bad running into them though...just totally unexpected...and weird...especially since they looked like they were together.
- The first thing I saw when I turned on the TV was a movie I hadn't watched in like a decade - Titanic (you know, Kate Winslet and Leornado DiCaprio). The movie touched my heart as it did all those years back (come on it's such a sad story you'd be alien if you don't cry) and has now found it's way into my list of 'Top 10 Best Movies Of All Time'.
[Note: As to why No. 3's weird, let's just say of all days to watch a sad movie like that, it had to be Valentine's Day. At least, I find it weird.]
Enough said, freaky as the day was in it self, it' probably one of the few Valentine's days I'll actually remember. Though mainly for the fact that I didn't end up hating being reminded of how non-existent my love-life is. Hmm...maybe that should be No.4? Oh well.
