18.2.09 -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY HYPER-BUTTON!!!!! XD
*Note: Shall proceed to rant~ XD----------So, exactly four (4) days past Valentine's Day, a certain little lady apparently celebrated her special day - her freaking Birthday, that is (before anyone starts thinking something else, for all I know XP). Personal summery? Well, it was pretty short-lived, haha! The plan was to meet dear Rixie over at Pizza Hut, Sunway Pyramid around 12pm. I managed getting there around 15 minutes late, though little did I know at the time, I wouldn't be the latest of invitees attending hyper-button's apparent get-together. One of her peeps' mobile phone it seemed actually selected that day of all days to blackout on him (lolz), leaving us with no means of contacting the dude. As one can expect, he didn't turn up in the end~ XP
Anyway, after at least a half hour wait, us girls (Rixie, Pam and I) finally gave up waiting for the guys and ordered the food. Honestly, we had to since Rixie was VERY near dying point, heh! XD Funny thing was that when she finally decided on what to order her bestie shows up! Nice timing~ Rixie introduced him to Pam and I by his supposed nickname - Nasi Goreng (which I shall now use to address the guy should I ever run into him ever again, haha!).
While waiting for the food (pizza) to arrive, being the freaking FF Freaks we are, the conversation naturally strayed over to the topic of Final Fantasy. That's right, from FF X-2 to chocobos to Cloud Strife in character to Crisis Core (which Rixie was still playing on my PSP during the time to ease her boredom - you gotta thank me for that girl!! XP) and all the way to Dissidia. Of course, a few other topics managed to squeeze themselves in at random intervals of the conversation - Pam brought up Mr. Ben (whom I have not seen since leaving Taylor's) and Nasi Goreng (NG) brought up The One Academy (his college/Uni).
With lunch over, I guess one can pretty much say the celebration was more or less over too, lol. Shortly after reaching the arcade area, Pam left the group to catch up with her boyfriend. And so, I ended up playing spectator to Rixie's and NG's gaming (dancing an shooting) till NG had to go on account of classes.
Left with little option available with only two people in the party (Rixie and my self), we somehow ended up in Pyramid's bowling facility and ended up playing a game together. While enjoyable, the game was (in my personal opinion) really REALLY weird, heh! It was like Lady Luck plain couldn't decided who she was going to cast her massive pile of luck down upon - one moment Rixie's leading me by a point and the next thing I know I'm ahead of her by the same amount. Freaky, isn't it?
And then, just when I thought luck had finally chosen Rixie's side (seeing as she kept hitting pins down each turn while I ended up with a string of nothings), the luck makes one final switch as I ended up with two (2) spares in a row and several very convincing hits after - you can guess, Rixie's luck dwindled after my spares. Like I said, seriously weird game. As a result, I ended up victorious by a little over 20 points, thanks to the spares and Rixie's lost luck~ XD It's all luck people, I'm honestly terrible at bowling.
Seeing that we still had time before either of us had to leave after the game was over, Rixie decided she needed something 'cold' so obviously, Baskin Robins (which just so happened to be right ahead at the time) was our next destination. Ice creams in tow, how did we waste our remaining time together? Simple - whip out my handy PSP again. Figured I'd let Rixie have a go at the oh-so-addictive FF Dissidia~ She completed the whole Prologue part of the game just in time to head down to the main entrance and catch a....bus? Cab? Train? Ah well, whatever.
Happy Birthday Hyper-Button!! XD~
The rest is still unwritten...
