You wanna know something?
The Past
Fact: I never thought in a million years that I'd ever reach my credit card limit.
The Present
Fact: I was proven (utterly) wrong.
*clears throat* You may start laughing your bollocks off now people~ XD
So the story goes, my parents finally found the time to accompany me shopping for a new laptop. I ended up settling over one of the Sony VAIO models available (go ahead and guess). Obviously, they being the parents, paid for the piece of technology with their credit cards. Why the 's' at the end? Well, basically because some of the cards just wouldn't punch through. It definitely took a while but hey, I got my laptop!
Yeah, I know what you're thinking now--where does that leave my credit card limit being reached?
After about a week or so after my laptop was purchased, my little bro's desktop decides to crash on him. And since little bro holds a mighty position in his school's Interact Club, not to mention is (alike me in the sense) suffering from a major dose of technosis (shall never forget those lessons Mr. G!).
Yes, you can see where this is going, can't you?
Sure there are other computers in the house little bro could use. My father's under-utilized (though tragically outdated) laptop for one, plus the house's main computer sitting in the study which generally falls into my mom's hands, she being a lecturer. Nevertheless, little bro had his many complaints (of which I shall refrain from boring you readers with) and so, posed a need...for a laptop of his own.
As one can imagine, my mom and I accompanied him to the Sony shop I'd gotten my new laptop from the week before and little bro settled for getting the exact same laptop model as mine, only in a different color.
And again, where does my credit card limit-reaching come into play?
Haha--payment, where else?
As it turns out, all of Mom's cards decided to be mean to us (basically the transaction machines wouldn't function--grr!!!) and we had to try mine as well, which, while thankfully worked...(as you already know)...reached its limit. Well who saw that coming? Not me, that's certain. Yes, do go on laughing! XP
Fact: There is good news--I now know my credit card limit.
Peace ^_^
PS: *tone of sarcasm* Thanks a lot, bro!
The rest is still unwritten...
