Yeah, unknown to many (until they decide to read this, lol) I remained rather cooped up in my room over the first weekend of my sem break. Was honestly too lazy to go out, what with fasting month being around and all. Plus I'd turned semi-nocturnal thanks to Anirealm being back on--though I'm really happy about that (yay!). Have been taking it reasonably easy too where studies are concerned - hey, it is a break - but no worries, I'll get myself back on track in a jiffy; just have a fanfiction chapter to get drafted first (lol!).
Anyways, so I was reallyreallyreallyreallyREALLY bored having stayed indoors for most of the time except for groceries, dumping the trash or the short walk to campus for printing subject readings.
What did I do?
Call up someone I figured was still in town for the sem break (haha); thank goodness he was bored too and we ended up hanging out. Mind you, with no real plan or idea of what to do.
Turns out Cal already had a hair appointment fixed for the day at 4pm so that was a start. Yeah, you bet, I cut my freaking hair in Aussieland (term courtesy of Noxy from Anirealm XP)!!
Pictures at the end of this post--promise! XD
So yeah, we spent quite a bit of our time at Borders (the book store, duh!), where Cal couldn't resist buying some fashion magazines (drools!). We then figured we'd check out some of the exhibitions on the upcoming Fashion Week in Melbourne Central since we were there. Nothing very much from what I saw. Oh, not that they weren't nice or interesting--just that there was practically no life about the exhibitions. Once again, pictures below.
We browsed the many streets of Melbourne to pass the time later on. Pretty much walking from one end of the City Center to the other, snapping random shots of branded stores along the way--come on, we so had to! And of course, checked out a pirated (lol, no judging me XP) CD/DVD store in the vicinity which we stumbled upon some time back.
Heh, pretty darn random day, huh? Obviously I came home after the hair cut. It cost me a bomb (no, not literally) but heck I think my hair's never looked any better.
Take a look!~
You bet, one of the exhibitions.
Pretty neat stuff if you're into clothes.
Now this dress was cool--made entirely using fire and heat (no stitches!!)
Name says it all, doesn't it? XP
Here's another one~
The all-famous Prada~
Just a random shot. Nice view though. ^^
Yes, there was a Barbie display exhibition there. Too bad no Malaysian Barbie XP
And yep, I have a fringe now~ XP
Looks pretty different in my opinion (I know I look like I'm bored or something in the picture but heck I don't care XP). Haha, think I'll keep it this way for a while ^_^
